Expression of Interest are invited for Refurbishment of SHT Platforms

Scope of Works

The scope of the Works shall include the following for the existing 4 platforms in Sha Tin Station (SHT) at East Rail Line (EAL):

1) Supply and install of new Vitreous Enamel (VE) claddings on existing columns and wall, new false ceiling with painting, ceiling fans and lighting provisions, repair and repaint the existing wall finishes, provision of new fire services installation and realign existing furniture and equipment to suit for the works. As the EAL is an operating railway, the works are expected to be carried out during Non-Traffic Hours (NTH), unless otherwise agreed with the Corporation at specific locations.

2) The Contractor shall provide all the resources for the Works including design, supervision, labour, material, plant and equipment. Equipment and plant of quiet models (e.g. Quality Powered Mechanical Equipment (QPME)), noise abatement materials such as means of silencers, mufflers, acoustic linings or shields, acoustic sheds or screens of sufficient height or other means to mitigate construction noise in compliance with the Noise Control Ordinance are required.

3) The scope of the Works shall also include the obtaining of all necessary licenses and permits for the Works

To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 17 September 2021 via the MTR Corporation Limited-s E-Tendering System. Late applications shall not be considered.
