Abstract: The site is owned by North Tyneside Council who wish to see residential houses for market sale being built on it. Strategically it forms part of the North Shields regeneration plans for re-development because its prominent position in the town s conservation area and its historic importance as it faces a traditional Georgian Square.The Development is a courtyard development which will see the original Georgian town houses converted back into dwellings, and new-build housing to the rear.
