The objective of the project is to realize the missing link of the Moerwijk-Centrum star cycle route between Vaillantlaan and Stationsweg in The Hague. The Hoefkade will be designed safely for pedestrians and cyclists crossing. In addition, improved the living environment and replaced part of the sewerage system. The work mainly consists of: -Application of temporary traffic measures - Breaking up and applying element paving - Breaking up asphalt pavements -Earthworks -Miscellaneous remediation work -Demolition and installation of sewerage -Apply sourcing - Breaking up and installing house and gully connections - Breaking up and applying gullies -Green work (earthwork for planting 114 trees and other greenery) -Break up and installing street furniture (bicycle staples and benches) -Removing and installing signage The publication of the tender is expected in February 2026. This will be a non-public procedure. The registration phase will start in March 2026 and will all pieces are shared with the selected parties.
