Redesign of the Pfäffikon ZH bus station The existing bus station at Pfäffikon ZH train station is reaching its capacity limits. The number of bus routes has increased and normal buses have been replaced by articulated buses for capacity reasons. In addition, today's system meets these requirements current requirements of the Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BehiG). For modern, safe and barrier-free bus operations, seven barrier-free stops for articulated buses will be required in the final expansion. In the first expansion phase, 6 Standard-compliant holding edges for articulated buses are offered that meet the requirements of the Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BehiG). The project is designed in such a way that in the final state (expansion of the SBB platform) there will be a further 7th handicapped-accessible stopping edge to the east can be created.
