Approved by the UNICEF Executive Board in September 2023, its vision is to work so that every girl and boy in Togo lives in a more resilient, protective, equitable and inclusive society, where children's rights are respected and their voices count. . Aligned on the one hand, with the 2020-2025 roadmap of the Government of Togo and with the UNICEF Strategic Plan 2022-2025, and derived from the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023-2026, this country program was developed to strengthen systemic and behavioral changes as well as scaling up. of convincing initiatives delivering results in favor of children and adolescents, especially the most vulnerable, while taking into account the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. It is centered around four main programmatic components sectoral namely: child survival and development, education, child protection and social policies; and a transversal component on program effectiveness including planning, monitoring, research and management knowledge, as well as communication, advocacy, partnership and social and behavioral change.
