UN Women, based on the vision of equality enshrined in the United Nations Charter, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; women`s empowerment; and achieving equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian actionand peace and security. Violence against women is both the cause and consequence of HIV-AIDS infection. For a large majority of women, the violence suffered resulted in HIV-AIDS infection. For others, for the simple reason tested positive HIV, are victim and subject to any form of stigma and discrimination, so doublingViolence victim.Un Women through the UBRAF fund and initiatives put in place that can lead to the reduction of violence through an integrated and community-based proactive approach to create change in society and in the global architecture genre. here 2030. Statistics show that there are 1.8 billion young people aged 10 to 24 inthe world. Of these, 600 million are teenagers and young women. Globally, young women aged 15 to 24 are the most vulnerable to HIV, with infection rates twice as high as among young men at 0.6%. This disparity is most pronounced in sub-Saharan Africa, where 3.1% of young women are living with HIV, compared to 1.3%% of young men [1] There is an overrepresentation of women among those infected in Haiti: of the 150, 000 adults living with HIV, 87, 000 (58%) were women. Only 37.3% of women and men aged 15 to 24 were able to correctlyidentify ways of preventing sexual transmission ofHIV. These findings prompted UN Women and its partners to review their strategies and propose further incentives for downstream action to reduce the impacts of these scourges and facilitate their access to accessible, accessible and affordable services, including target areas. Through the UBRAF funds, UN Women collaborates in anjointly with UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO / PAHO, UNFPA, WFP, ILO and UNDP to take into account the regional dimensions of the HIV epidemic...
