Tender Details
In September 2017, the EU and the UN launched a joint partnership to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls worldwide. It is therefore part of the strengthening of the global partnership for development, through, on the one hand, the search for effective multi-stakeholder partnerships (central government, local authoritiesDecentralized, civil society, private sector, among others) to combat the scourge of Violence against Women and Girls (VFFF) and, on the other hand, through the efforts that will be deployed as part of a mobilization of resources to allow the multiplication of the Spotlight experience in the other departments of the country during a secondprogram phase. The Initiative aims to end all forms of violence against women and girls, targeting those that are most prevalent and contribute to gender inequality around the world. It will deploy large-scale targeted investments in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Pacific and the Caribbean, the goal of improving the lives of women and girls. Haiti is one of the Caribbean countries to benefit from this transformative initiative. Indeed, the Spotlight Haiti country program aims to protect women and girls against domestic violence such as rape, sexual abuse, sexual and psychological harassment, deprivation and restrictions on liberty.rts, physical violence etc. It also aims to provide holistic care for women and girls survivors of violence. It places particular emphasis on the specific needs of groups exposed to multiple forms of discrimination. The Spotlight Initiative works with governments and civil society organizations por prevent domestic violence by raising awareness, establishing and enforcing laws and policies and improving the quality of essential services for survivors.
