Description
The purpose of this requirement is to acquire technical and management services for the CoastGuard-s Recreational Boat Testing and Compliance Program (RBTCP). The RBTCP enforces therequirements of 46 USC 43 and 33 CFR Subchapter S. This work consists of:1. inspecting boats to ensure compliance with applicable requirements at manufacturerfacilities, boat shows, boat dealers and other designated locations;2. testing recreational boats that are less than 20 feet in length for compliance with flotationrequirements; and3. testing associated marine equipment, specialized boats and equipment manufactured forsale in the United States.
