The object of these works: reconversion of farm buildings to 6 residential units and common laundry room - structural work and finish. Explanation: The assignment concerns the second phase in the development of the Kasteelhoeve Haute Cense, located in Constitutionstraat 101, 8930 Menen. Two actions are performed -the renovation of the large barn, the former cowshed with a change of function and with a change in the number of residential entities. 6 residential entities are set up in the barn next to a common washing place. -The restoration of the existing outbuilding, the former horse stable, as a storage room and without a residential function but with demolition of an attached garage. The Haute Cense site or the so -called castle farm "La Haute Cense" is the only remnant of the original buildings within the "De Barraken" district. The current buildings probably date from the late 18th or the early 19th century. The city of Menen wishes to see the site tackled, improve the residential function and to optimize the quality of the living environment to also actively fight the vacancy position.
