The existing forest road subject to reconstruction is an internal road, approved for public traffic, with an asphalt surface. The road is a fire access road and is an addition the existing network of forest roads. The beginning of the reconstruction of the forest road (km 0+000) is a continuation of the existing internal municipal road, with an asphalt surface, leading to the town of Huta Nowa. The end of the road reconstruction is located at km 0+990. The reconstruction includes: a road section with a length of 990 meters. The aim of the investment is to improve the technical condition of the surface of the forest road in question, increase its strength parameters and adapt the road geometry to the requirements set for fire roads by the guidelines of the General Directorate State Forests (hereinafter referred to as GDPL) by constructing passing areas and widening the road. The reconstruction of the road will contribute to the increase in road user safety and forest safety by shortening the intervention time in the event of a fire hazard.
