Reconstruction of a fire detection system in administrative building in the Istok heating plant - Revision of a project for the reconstruction of a fire detection system in the administrative building in the Istok heating plant The fire detection system in the administrative building, machine shop and warehouse in the East heating plant is old approximately 20 years. Addressable FC460P smoke-optical fire detectors compatible with the FIRE CLASS 200 control panel are no longer manufactured and cannot be purchased as new. In case of failure of one of the detectors, the same should be replace with repaired or should be deactivated by the system. In that way, the reliability of the system will be reduced, which, on the other hand, increases the risk in the event of a fire in the mentioned facilities. Considering that, according to the REGULATIONS FOR MEASURES FOR PROTECTION AGAINST FIRES, EXPLOSIONS AND DANGEROUS MATERIALS issued by the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, we are legally obliged to own and maintain a functional fire alarm system, it is necessary to replace the permanent one with a new system. The selection procedure of a supplier for project development is completed, and it is necessary to carry out a procedure for selecting a supplier for project revision.
