To meet the need for vehicles, North Sea Port wants to purchase various vehicles with a maintenance contract in the coming years. This concerns 2 types of vehicles: Pool vehicles and Service vehicles. Vehicles are deployed from Belgium and from The Netherlands. All cars are purchased with a maintenance contract. There are currently about 35 vehicles, of which approximately 20% need to be replaced in 2024. In subsequent years, they will be replaced as needed. Expansion of this fleet is also possible possible in the near future. To this end, a recognition system is being set up: at any time, an interested company can submit an application for recognition demonstrating that it meets the requirements. (see point I.4 of the Recognition Guidelines) The application must contain the required documents and clearly state for which category(ies) (plot(s)) it is being submitted. The applicant will be informed of its recognition or non-recognition no later than 30 days after submission. This period is suspended during holiday periods. The conditions for recognition can be revised, for example due to changes in technical circumstances (e.g. innovations). Every recognized company will be informed of this in a timely manner a supplement to the application or a new application can be submitted.
