This is a sources-sought announcement to be used for preliminary market research purposes only. No bids are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made by the Government for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract for the tasks listed below (subject to change). An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources-sought synopsis. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this sources-sought is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $45 million in average annual receipts.• The Las Vegas Bay concrete potable water storage tank requires routine maintenance. This project will perform various maintenance and installation activities on the water tank.• The existing 150, 000 gallon, two cell concrete water storage tank requires the interior of the tank to be drained, cleaned and repainted with paint appropriate for use in potable water tanks.
