Real Roommates Project Synopsis: This Negotiated Request for Proposal (Nrfp) is an Invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (Gos), Ministry of Social Services, to Prospective Proponents to Provide Submissions to Operate a Group Living Program that will Assist People with Intellectual Disabilities. the Successful Supplier will Provide Residential Support in Saskatoon, Sk for Eight (8) Individuals in Two (2) Separate Dwellings, As Further Described in the Nrfp Particulars (Appendix A). the Objectives of These Services Are To: be Committed to Providing a Safe, Permanent Home for People with Intellectual Disabilities Who have Medical, Behavioral And/Or Mental Health Concerns, to Live Meaningfully in the Community with the Right Supports; Offer a Safe Living Environment and Support up to Eight (8) Residents in Two (2) Separate Homes (Example. a Duplex, Neighboring Homes, Etc.) the Homes will be Based Around the Individuals Support Needs and Person-Centered Plans (Pcp). the Pcp Approach is a Key Factor in Determining the Specific Needs of These Clients and Promoting a High Quality of Life; and have an Integrated Team Approach to Support Each Individual and Their Pcp. the Gos will Consider Proposals from Both Non-Profit Community Based Organization (Cbos) and For-Profit Agencies, Eligible to be Registered with Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan.
