RE-26-05 Total contract Pump station-Kvarsevja
Purpose Rendalen municipality intends to enter into a contract with a general contractor to establish a new pumping station at Kvarsevja which will replace the existing facility for handling water flow in the tributary (Kvarsevja) at high water levels in the main waterway (North Renaelva). The supplier must use its specialist knowledge and competence to contribute to ensuring that the purpose of the contract is met. Scope The general contractor must deliver a new pumping station to replace the existing facility. The new pumping station will be established as a separate facility with new pumps, new pump house, associated pipe system, electrical and automation system as well as necessary building and external works. The existing pumping station is demanding to operate and presents challenges related to operation, maintenance and HSE. The client therefore attaches great importance to robust solutions that provide simple operation, good working environment and high operational reliability. The existing pumping station must be kept operational throughout the construction phase until the new pumping station is put into operation. After the commissioning of the new pumping station, parts of the existing facility must be rehabilitated, while one existing pipe run must be rehabilitated and further used as a low-water pipe.
