The ORLEANS Metropolis, competent in the creation, development, maintenance and management of heating networks, has decided to entrust to a third party, as part of a public service delegation lasting 10 years, the design, financing, realization, operation, maintenance, renewal and modernization of the public heating production and distribution service urban over part of its territory: ORLEANS LA SOURCE, OLIVET and FLEURY LES AUBRAIS. In this context, DALKIA will ensure, as Delegated Project Owner, on behalf of ÉCOME, the construction of heat production and distribution installations. To this end, modernization work on the DBO biomass plant and the SOCOS gas boiler room, as well as work to replace the substation exchangers is planned for 2026. DALKIA wishes to set up an HSE prevention mission (full-time over a period of 6 months) in order to guarantee compliance with safety standards and control of environmental risks linked to the work.
