The Connecticut Department Of Mental Health And Addiction Services Is Seeking Proposals For Up To Four 23-Hour Rapid Evaluation, Stabilization And Treatment (Rest) Centers, In Dmhas Regions 3 And 5, Serving Rural Communities. The Rest Centers Will Offer The Community 201Cno Wrong Door 201D Access To Mental Health And Substance Use Treatment And Will Accept Walk-Ins, Police Drop-Offs, And Other Referrals. Dmhas Is Seeking To Establish A Contract For One Rest Center By Sept 1, 2026, With Services To Commence No Later Than 12/1/26. Dmhas Is Seeking To Establish Three More Csus In Subsequent Grant Years Beginning On November 1, 2026.
