1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for informational and market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Bid, Quote or Proposal or a solicitation. The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division, is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the construction requirement described herein. The information gathered will assist the Government in developing an appropriate acquisition strategy.
The Government is under no obligation to award a purchase order or contract as a result of this announcement, and no funds are available to pay for the preparation of responses. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation.

2. PROJECT BACKGROUND. The Government requires construction services for the following project:
Project Title: Range Control Front Gate - Devens, MA (DEVENS)
Project Location: Devens RFTA located at Installation PBO, Whse Bldg 3574, 12 Feinberg Street, Devens, MA 01434-4429
Brief Description of Work: The purpose of this commercial construction requirement is to construct an automatic gate system for the RFTA Devens South Post Range Complex. The construction includes but is not limited to An RFID card reader as well as a backup pin pad is required for the entrance gate as well as the ability to keep the inbound gate open during certain hours with a switch located in the already established guard shack and the Range Control building.
