1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for informational and market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Bid, Quote or Proposal or a solicitation. The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division, is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the construction requirement described herein. The information gathered will assist the Government in developing an appropriate acquisition strategy.
The Government is under no obligation to award a purchase order or contract as a result of this announcement, and no funds are available to pay for the preparation of responses. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation.

2. PROJECT BACKGROUND. The Government requires construction services for the following project:
Project Title: Range Echo Firing Berm Upgrade (DEVENS)
Project Location: Devens RFTA located at Installation PBO, Whse Bldg 3574, 12 Feinberg Street, Devens, MA 01434-4429
Brief Description of Work: The purpose of this construction project is to construct a 7ft wide Berm on each sides of the existing concrete barries located on Echo Range at the South Post Range Complex at Fort Devens, MA 01434. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, technical expertise, and all other non-personal services to create the new Berm which includes but is not limited to: the creation of the berm on each side of the existing concrete barrier, the placement of six (6) composite 4x4s to create a barricade holder, and any necessary site restoration as a result of the digg...
