Bettlach train station conversion The Pieterlen train station corresponds does not meet the requirements of the Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BehiG) and must be adjusted accordingly. As part of this project, the access to the train and the platform system are to be modernized and be adapted to today's requirements. The project goals and measures in Individuals are: − New construction of the outdoor platform system with a usable length of 160m, and Upward compatibility to a usable length of 235m; − Platform elevation to P55; − Construction of a new pedestrian underpass including entrances; − Track system adjustments to the new external platform system (length profile); − Adapt the contact line system to the new external platform system, incl. Ensuring upward compatibility; − Adjustments to the station area due to the construction of a new passenger underpass and demolition Technical building RL01; − Any possible use of synergies for necessary conservation measures Systems e.g. replacement of technical building RL01 with a new technical cabin.
