Market research is being conducted to service disabled veteran owned small business (sdvosb), veteran owned small business (vosb), small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), woman owned small business or hubzone interests.
The department of veterans affairs medical center (vamc) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide radiographic equipment performance evaluation services.
Scope of work:a all dental service and operating room radiographic equipment will be tested for compliance in accordance with all state and fda regulatory parameters for imaging service.a inspections will include computerized tomography (ct), magnetic resonance imaging (mri), nuclear medicine (nm), c-arm, portables and fluoroscopic equipment.
The contractor will provide all testing to include:a
fluoroscopic equipment performance evaluation:a output, maximum dose/exposure rate; automatic brightness control, aec accuracy, half value layer, field size alignment, postings and system resolution (high and low contrast).a
radiographic equipment performance evaluation:a output, mas reciprocity, ma linearity, timer accuracy, kvp accuracy, half value layer, postings.
Ct equipment performance evaluations:a phantom measurements, ct number uniformity over image, radiation/dose output, high and low contrast resolution, image noise and variance in uniform water and ct number, accuracy of ct numbers, collimation accuracy, couch indexing accuracy.
