R2 Batka - Figa, building contractor Description: The purpose of the procurement of construction works R2 Batka - Figa is to relieve the burden of the currently congested transport network, namely road i/16, along which transit traffic is conducted with a negative impact for residents along this road of the busy road leading through the village. By building the R2 expressway, the flow, speed and safety of traffic will increase and there will be a significant improvement in traffic and operating conditions for transit traffic. General overview of the construction: - total length of the section of the main route: 6, 318.585 m - layout (road category): R 11.5/100 - number of buildings: 90 - total number of bridges: 6 on R2 Construction description: The R2 expressway is part of the international European route E58 in the west-east direction. Expressway R2 will connect the previously prepared section R2 Zacharovce - Batka with the completed section R2 Figa - bypass. The beginning of the section R2 Batka - Figa continues to the previous section R2 Zacharovce - Batka, behind the "Batka" overpass, solved in previous section. Here the route crosses road III/2753 and continues to the existing junction of road I/16 with road III/2759, which bridges including the Blh stream. In the next section, the route runs along road I/16 from the south side, in k. u. Kalosa is moving away from the corridor I/16 is delayed and crosses road III/2760 and Teska stream. Further, it intersects the road I/16 and ends by connecting to the construction of R2 Figa - bypass.
