Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Qualisys North Ameica Inc., located at 1603 Barclay Blvd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for twelve (12) Qualisys Arqus A12 High-Speed Motion Capture Cameras (Model# 600112), twelve (12) Qualisys Miqus Hybrid- Standard Motion Capture Video Cameras (Model # 400200HC), and requisite connection equipment.
This material will be used to support all Biomechanics Team research, including marker and markerless motion capture. The cameras need to be secured and mounted via a truss system. Vendor is responsible for truss system, government is responsible for direct infrastructure mounts. Should be received in line with S2PRINT habitation date. Only Qualisys personnel can conduct the installation and training, as well as supply software update access. The Biomechanics and Engineering team already possesses multiple Qualisys system hardware items, software that is integrated with other equipment, and has the Qualisys motion Oqus cameras as well as an updated Qualisys collection station (computer) in three collection areas. This equipment is to expand current capabilities, for collection in the larger lab space to be constructed in the S2PRINT building. Additionally, Qualisys is the only motion capture company that can seamlessly integrate with current Qualisys motion capture cameras. The Biomechanics Team also has extensive experience with the set up and usage of this equipment, with an active service agreement with Qualisys for software and assistance.
