The Province, as represented by the Minister of Forests, through BC Wildfire Services (“BCWS”), invites Responses from Respondents to provide Qualified Faller Coach, Qualified Supervisor, Qualified Trainer, Qualified Assessor and Helipad Construction Trainer (collectively the “Services”). The Services will be provided at BCWS specified venues and may also be provided at Contractor supplied Timber Sites. The Services will prepare BCWS staff to perform their duties as fallers by helping them to develop the skills and training they require to safely perform their duties. The Services are not being provided in the context of active wildfires. Respondents may propose any number of resources for each of the services and may propose the same resource for any number of services. Respondents are invited to apply to qualify resources for either Qualified Faller Coach or Qualified Faller Supervisor, or may apply to qualify resources for both, and may, but are not required, to also apply to qualify resources for Qualified Faller Trainer, Qualified Faller Assessor and Helipad Construction Trainer. For greater clarity, Respondents are not required to apply to qualify resources for all services, but if submitting a Response, Respondents are required at a minimum to apply to qualify resources for either the Qualified Faller Coach or Qualified Faller Supervisor.
