Qualification system: Supply of steps for escalators The purpose of this notice is to establish a qualification system, with the aim of qualifying suppliers for the supply of steps for escalators of the Schindler brand. The qualification of candidates will take place through 2 qualification stages. This qualification system constitutes competition. Consultations having the same purpose as this qualification system will be published on this basis. Only qualified candidates at the launch of the consultation will be consulted and put into competition. The costs related to the qualification of the candidate are the responsibility of the candidate, except for the provision of samples from phase 2 of the qualification system as well as laboratory tests. RATP will compensate the provision of prototypes and laboratory tests once for each candidate. In the event that the first prototypes do not comply with the requirements of the qualification system allowing stage 2 qualification, the new sending of prototypes and new laboratory tests will be the responsibility of the candidate.
