RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF GOODS AND SERVICES
WHEREAS, various departments/offices submitted PPMPs with the following details:
QCCCD-24-MF-0588 CRUTCHES, QUADCANE, AND WHEELCHAIR P 38, 168.00 QUEZON CITY CENTER FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
WHEREAS, Section 48 of RA 9184 states among others that subject to the prior approval of the head of the procuring entity or his duly authorized representative and whenever justified by the conditions provided in this Act, the procuring entity may, in order to promote economy and efficiency, resort to any of the alternative methods of -procurement;
WHEREAS, the proposed acquisition merits the application of Section 53.9, IRR of RA 9184 which provides that negotiated procurement may be resorted to where the same does not fall under Shopping in Section 52.1 and the amount involved does not exceed the amount of P1, 000, 000.00;
