1. INTRODUCTION
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21), is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support, a requirement for Controlled Substance Destruction.
The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement and identifying potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541380 (Controlled Substance Destruction.) The Product Service Code (PSC) is Q399 (Medical - Other).

3. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT / CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Incubation/Speciation of Viable Samples for - Media Fill, Gloved Fingertip and Thumb Sampling, Viable Surface. Performance will occur for Station 593 at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086, and its associated regional clinics under the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System.
Key technical capability requirements include:
Provide routine software updates, firmware upgrades, and hardware upkeep for passive RTLS sensors, tags, and tracking systems.
