Progressive Design-Build Services for the SFAC AAACC & MCCLA Seismic Improvements Project San Francisco Public Works (“Public Works”) and San Francisco Arts Commission ("SFAC") announce a Request for Qualifications / Request for Proposals ("RFQP") inviting Design-Builders to submit a competitive proposal for Progressive Design-Build services for the SFAC African American Art & Culture Complex (“AAACC”) / Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (“MCCLA”) Seismic Improvement Projects. Scope of Work: selected Progressive Design-Build firm to provide seismic upgrades, leak repairs and roof work, code-required upgrades, select renovations, hazmat abatement, mechanical system updates, and all related work at two (2) project locations:  Project A - SFAC African American Art and Culture Complex (“AAACC”) located at 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco, CA 94102  Project B - SFAC Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (“MCCLA”) located at 2868 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Time allowed for completion is seven hundred and ninety days (790) consecutive calendar days. The estimated direct construction cost for Project A is approximately $12, 500, 000 and for Project B is $16, 600, 000. Work shall comply with all applicable building codes and regulatory agencies- standards having jurisdiction over the design, construction, and operation of AAACC & MCCLA. A virtual Pre-Proposal conference will be held via Microsoft Teams on August 26, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM, Pacific Time. Please review Document 00 01 01 Project Information for instructions.
