The E-cow Sentinel project aims to strengthen the climate resilience of cattle farms by anticipating stresses and pathologies linked to weather conditions. By connecting existing information systems and supplementing them with data meteorological, the project aims to create an alert system inspired by sentinel medicine systems. The contract concerns the acquisition of 24 weather stations or sets of weather stations (several types of weather stations are required per site) allowing the measurement of air temperature and humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, wind speed and direction and foliage humidity.
