The Societe de transport du Saguenay (hereafter "STS") wishes to acquire between 10 and 15 used 40-foot urban buses. Under the terms of the acquisition, all major components of the buses (engine, transmission, differential, and gearbox) must have been refurbished by the supplier.STS is looking toidentify companies (hereafter "respondents") in the current market that are able to meet this need, as well as the services they offer. The information collected will be used to plan STS's needs based on what is available on the market.Since the suppliers' deliverable contains an element of uncertainty— specifically, the repairs to be carried out by the eventual contractor — we would like to know the best way to proceed with these acquisitions and refurbishments, as well as the foreseeable risks under the proposedmodel.
