Context: KANAL-Centre Pompidou is a new international-level Cultural Center bringing together a modern and contemporary art museum as well as a Architecture Center initiated by the Brussels-Capital Region. The KANAL Foundation is responsible for its development and management. The museum will be installed in the former buildings of the Citroën garage in Brussels located between Square Sainctelette, the Quai de Willebroek, the Quai de la Voirie and the Quai des Péniches in 1000 Brussels. The floor area for the entire project amounts to approximately 40, 000 m². In addition to the areas dedicated to cultural exhibitions, multi-purpose cultural spaces, HoReCa spaces, relaxation and education spaces, and work spaces are also integrated into the building.
