As part of the opening of the new Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in the Brussels Capital Region, the Kanal-Center Pompidou Foundation is looking for a supplier for the production of aluminum modular structures which will serve as framework for the construction of removable partitions andReusable in future exhibition spaces.
In response to CSR strategies and eco-responsible commitments that the Kanal Foundation sets up, the production teams have decided to develop a reusable system in the scenography of temporary medium duration exhibitions, whichRegularly require adaptations of the partitioning of spaces dedicated to this typology of artistic programming projects.
In an approach of eco-design, sustainability and re-use, the choice was made to acquire a system of modular structures in aluminum profiles"mechanic" type. This system will be used to develop several exhibition projects when opening and will be used to experiment with its modularity in the context of upcoming projects during the programming seasons. This initiative is also part of a waste reduction policylinked to the exhibitions and responsible purchasing, while rethinking the methods of production.
