Short description : The basis for the acquisition is the Storting's resolution No. 1158, December 2016, cf. Doc. 8: 103 S (2015-2016) and Recommendation 58 S (2016-2017), and the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries (NFD) letter of 2 February 2018 to Innovation Norway. The Parliament adopted the following: 1. The Storting asks the government to mergeNorthwest Russia Investment Fund and East Europe Investment Fund.2. The Storting asks the government to make a new mandate for the merged fund adapted to the current situation.3. The Storting asks the government to put the management of the new merged investment fund into a competent environment in Nord-Norway, with anchorage in Sr-Varanger. Innovation Norway wishes to find a management environment for the fund. This implies that the management environment assigned to the assignment is mandated to manage the capital of the new investment fund that is created.
