Industrial non-iodized salt is necessary for the water softening process, that is, for the regeneration of the ion filters in this process. The technology of the water softening process, for the water used in heating plants, and in the distribution network, requires use of industrial non-iodized salt, for the regeneration process of ion filters (water softeners). Replenishment of daily water losses in the distribution network is carried out through daily chemical preparation of water, for which the industrial non-iodized salt is essential. Therefore, industrial non-iodized salt is necessary for the smooth functioning of the chemical water treatment system.
