Procurement of high-performance, firefighter-grade Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) sets for use in structural firefighting, confined space rescue, and hazardous environments.
Each SCBA unit must include the following components:
Full Face Mask / Facepiece
Wide field of vision (minimum 180°)
Scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens
Comfortable head harness with adjustable straps
Anti-fog coating or system
Backframe and Harness Assembly
Ergonomic, lightweight, flame-resistant harness
Adjustable shoulder and waist straps
Corrosion-resistant frame
Air Cylinder
Composite or aluminum cylinder
Minimum 30-minute rated duration at 2216 psi or 4500 psi
With a pressure gauge and an integrated valve
