AZ West wishes to optimize and automate the medication storage and distribution within the current hospital pharmacy, with the aim of:
- Higher patient safety by excluding errors in the medication distribution process (for example, errors in the removal and picking of medication inthe pharmacy);
- complete traceability of medication, from the impact to delivery. All current and currently known legal requirements must be met (for example FMD, MDR ...);
- higher service level by optimally deploying the pharmacy staff within aEfficient, standardized process flow.
The equipment and software offered for automation in the hospital pharmacy must:
- can be implemented in the future in the further automation of hospital-wide medication distribution (departments).
