Purchase of a disk array for the needs of the online audio-video archive and the MMC portal The subject of the public procurement is the purchase of a disk array for the needs of the online audio-video archive and the MMC portal. The technical requirements can be seen further on in this Documentation in relation to the award of a public contract. The purpose of the public procurement is to establish a unified, powerful, reliable, scalable and secure disk infrastructure to support the customer's key information services, in particular for: MMC WEB portal, • audio/video archive of RTV 365/AVA, • the needs of production processes, •needs for continuous operation of services, •needs for creating and storing backup copies. Due to the requirements for high availability, system resilience and ensuring information security, the customer procures two identical disk arrays, which must enable redundant, secure and uninterrupted operation and support for business-critical services. The client's environment is distinctly heterogeneous in terms of data structures, access patterns and load profiles. On the systems of the MMC WEB portal and the RTV 365/AVA audio/video archive process and store different types of data, whereby the requirements regarding performance, capacities, latencies and access concurrency differ significantly between individual systems. The chosen solution must therefore enabling efficient support of different workloads within a unified and consolidated disk infrastructure.
