Purchase of Automated Bench-Top Crimping Machine
Description : To purchase an Automated Bench-top Crimper machine to seal caps on to glass vials stoppered with rubber bungs.
A new machine is required to increase productivity while also decreasing the risk and seriousness of a potential Health & Safety incident when capping glass vials. The current equipment is +15 years old and substandard at providing the required levels of H&S and productivity.
The specification required: bench top, versatile vial size, interchangeable head for 2-3-mL and 5-mL vials, crimping machine and glass vials to be enclosed within a guard to provide operator protection, rotary/channel conveyor lane feeder to automatically (non-manually) move and hold vials to crimping mechanism, to then move to collection point outside of guard, 4-wheel crimping mechanism that rolls around the cap; not clamping mechanism. Compressor must be purchased and provided with machine.
