Description : TENDERS & NOTICESInvitation to Tender Purchase and Removal of an Aircraft at Hong Kong International Airport (Tender Ref: PRO/T5036/19/EC)The Airport Authority ("Authority") is pleased to invite interested parties to tender for the captioned tender.A Boeing B767-33A aircraft ("Aircraft") bearing manufacturer s serial number 25346 and registration mark EIDFS registered on the registry of the Irish Aviation Authority formerly operated by a Russian airline company has been parking at parking stand M24 at the apron of Hong Kong international Airport ("HKIA") since October 2015 without maintenance. The Authority does not have maintenance records of the Aircraft.The Authority exercised its statutory right under Section 40 of the Airport Authority Ordinance (CAP. 483) to detain the Aircraft in December 2015 and obtained an order from the Court of First Instance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSAR") to sell the Aircraft by tender on an "as-is" basis. The successful tenderer (1) must remove the Aircraft from the HKIA within 3 months of the Authority s acceptance of its tender at its own costs, irrespective of whether it purchases the Aircraft as a whole, or only purchases a component or components of the Aircraft; and (2) shall arrange on its own accord and its own costs for de-registration of the Aircraft with the Irish Civil Aviation Authority, if it buys the Aircraft as a whole.Terms and Conditions are as follows:1. Financial Offer shall be made in US Dollars.2. The Financial Offer shall be valid for a minimum of 180 days from the Tender Closing Date.3. A Tender Deposit in the form of a cashier s order or a bank guarantee or Telegraphic Transfer shall be submitted with the Tender Submission. Any Tender Submission without a Tender Deposit shall not be considered. 4. The amount of Tender Deposit shall be equal to or exceed the Reserve Price at USD795, 000.5.
