Tender Details

The transport authority, part of the Department of Mobility and Public Works (MOW), has the task of monitoring as a mode -neutral body on public transport in Flanders. The transport authority advises the Minister of Mobility, Public Works, Havens and Sport on the negotiation of a new public service contract between the Flemish government and the Flemish Transport Company (VVM) De Lijn. In the preparation of the negotiation of a public service contract, with the target start date 2027, the MOW department wishes to rely on external support. The cutlery includes two plots: I. Determining a formula to determine the calculation of the compensation of the transport company, as stated in Regulation 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on public passenger transport by rail and by road and to Withdrawal of Regulation (EEC) No 1191/69 of the Council and Regulation (EEC) No 1107/70 of the Council II. Determining performance indicators, to support the more performance of public transport in Flanders. A benchmark study is being held beforehand.
