To the extent that, by July 20, 2024 at the latest, no carrier will have started or be able to demonstrate that it is about to start scheduled air services between Rodez-Aveyron airport and Paris airport -Orly in accordance with the public service obligations imposed onthis connection and without requesting financial compensation, France has decided, in application of Article 16 paragraphs 9 and 10 of Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 24, 2008 establishing common rules for the operation of air services in the Cocommunity, to grant to an air carrier, after call for tenders in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 17 of the aforementioned regulation, the right to exclusively operate these air services from August 20, 2024.
