(MEA)PROJECT NAME: ADL 234630GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Wasilla, AKLEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 2 of Township 17 North, Range 2 West, Seward Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested approval of a public utility easement over state-owned, DMLW managed lands approximately 1, 324 feet in length and 50 feet in width, for a total of approximately 1.52 acres. The purpose of the proposed easement is to install an overhead 115 kV electric transmission line and associated poles. This application is part of a broader effort by MEA to construct a transmission line connecting the Pittman Road and Church Road areas to provide increased capacity and redundancy feeds to multiple substations.
