Public call for tenders for the granting of assistive technologies by the DIP Specialized Teaching Service The Republic and canton of Geneva, on behalf of the Specialized Pedagogy Service (hereinafter: SPS) within the Department of Instruction public, training and youth, wishes to find a service provider able to provide assistive technologies (hereinafter: TA) for children with special educational needs or disabilities (BEPH) following regular education, in accordance with to the requirements mentioned in the specifications and in the tender documents. In addition, services (such as the provision, downloading, installation, and configuration of TAs, as well as the training of children beneficiaries), also mentioned in the specifications, are sought. Indeed, since 2025, the SPS has been responsible for equipping with AT children with special educational needs or disabilities who are able to follow regular education for the said TA, to the extent that, since that date, the said children have been integrated into the standard school curriculum of the canton of Geneva. Previously, this task was the responsibility of the Disability Insurance Office. TAs include in particular tools computers (such as PC, Mac Neo, accessories, software).
