PRUNING AND CUTTING WORKS OF TALL AND DANGEROUS TREES IN COMMON AREAS The present study mainly concerns the pruning of tall trees that grow on sidewalks, squares, parks and public areas, within the limits of the Municipality, whose steep slope makes them dangerous to fall or pose risks of possible breaking and falling of their branches, due to great height or diseases in combination with severe weather conditions. The work of limiting their crown and sometimes their cutting and uprooting, are deemed urgent and mandated by our Service for the safety of both citizens and passing vehicles. In addition, for the cases of necessary cutting when the macroscopic control is not sufficient and deemed necessary, it will also be carried out control, recording, imaging and non-invasive assessment of fragility of tree trunks and control, recording and dynamic assessment of static behavior of trees in windy conditions. Pruning tall and dangerous trees is a particularly difficult task dangerous technical work, either because the crown of most trees extends over roads, or because they grow in busy public areas. These trees are difficult to prune and require special techniques pruning. For this reason, a specialized workshop is needed, with experience on the subject, so that workers, other passers-by are not at risk or damage is caused to passing vehicles and areas...
