The EUR Logistics ServicesProject, part of IFC-s Country Economics and Advisory (CAE) portfolio inEurope, encompasses Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia, and Albania. The advisory supportfocuses on three key areas: (i) Enabling Regulatory and Policy Reform - supportinggovernments in identifying and implementing priority reforms in logistics andwarehousing to enhance efficiency and attract investment, in close alignmentwith EU requirements and standards; (ii) Strengthening Private Sector Capacity- providing targeted training and advisory support to boost the competitivenessof local logistics and warehousing firms; (iii) Promoting Green and DigitalTransformation - assessing green and digital investment needs and assistinghigh-potential firms in identifying and adopting relevant solutions.In line with the second pillar, Strengthening PrivateSector Capacity, IFC is planning to assist the private operators in thelogistics sector of Serbia through a series of training sessions with the aimto improve their operational efficiency and alignment with internationalstandards. The trainings will cover key areas such as logistics and supplychain design, planning and optimization, digitalization of logistics processes, warehouse, transportation and distribution management, implementation ofinternational standards and best practices, green logistics and sustainabilitypractices, customs procedures and risk management, strategic planning, etc.
