Abstract: The authority has a requirement for the provision of smoking cessation training and an expert advice service programme. The proposed framework agreement shall be for a period of 3 years commencing November 2020 and ending March 2023.The successful service provider shall deliver a combination of quality assured smoking cessation training to military and civilian healthcare staff. The successful provider will also work closely with Defence Authorities to provide smoking and tobacco control expertise to advise on policy development and service delivery programmes.The service provider shall deliver two services. The first is to provide access to a range of smoking cessation courses that will support the training of healthcare staff in smoking cessation techniques, that include a combination of face-to-face and online training courses. These courses are to be adapted for MoD personnel to ensure they are focused around the service environment.
