1. Description of the subject of the order The subject of the public procurement is "Provision of services for preliminary treatment of mixed household waste generated from the territory of Aksakovo Municipality with an annual amount of about 8, 800 (eight thousand and eight hundred) tons/year or about 17, 600 (seventeen thousand six hundred) tons in two years. In the context of the considered subject of the order, the concept and service "pretreatment" should be understood as all activities related to: separation/sorting of incoming waste with code 20 03 01 mixed household waste for separation of recyclable and usable fractions; separation and shredding of high-calorie fraction; separation of inert fraction; separation of the biodegradable organic fraction from the municipal waste stream and its aerobic or anaerobic treatment. When treating the organic fraction separated from the stream of mixed household waste, the provisions of the Ordinance on separate collection of bio-waste and treatment of biodegradable waste must be observed. With the performance of the service by preliminary treatment of waste with code 20 03 01 mixed household waste, will achieve: •Achieving a higher level of waste management, according to the hierarchy of waste management under Article 6, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Waste Management; •Implementation of the provision to carry out pre-treatment of household waste before disposal; • Supporting the implementation of the goals at the regional level under Art. 31, paragraph 1 of the ZUO within the deadlines for phased achievement defined in § 15 of the transitional...
