Tender Details
The Department wishes to engage a Service Provider for the provision of Services for the National Relay Service (NRS) to enable people who are deaf, hearing impaired and/or have speech communication difficulties to connect with other people in a way that best suits their abilities and requirements, with multiple service options that can be accessed by regular and mobile telephones, web browsers, Teletypewriters or smartphone applications. In issuing this RFT, the Department is seeking innovative, value for money solutions from the market that deliver the following objectives : • A robust, reliable and accessible Service; • Service Access Options which meet the full range of needs of NRS Users; • Service optimisation and innovation without degradation to the current scope or level of service NRS Users experience today; • A Service maximising the use of mainstream consumer technologies and steadily reduces reliance on equipment specifically designed to access the NRS; and • Provides value for money for the Commonwealth.
