This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Minister of Public Service Delivery, on behalf of the Owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation (“Owner”) to prospective Contractors to submit proposals for Interior Unit and Bathroom Renovations as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).In consideration of Manitoba-s procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, for this Solicitation, preference will be given to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a non-Canadian manufactured product has been proposed. Alternative products made in Canada will be preferred and must be equivalent in quality and performance to the originally specified product, where possible.
