Description : As part of their licensing conditions under the Taxi Regulations Act 2013 and associated regulations, all small public service vehicles must display certain information in/on the vehicle and drivers must carry other forms of information.
The Authority wishes to invite tenders for the provision of secure print services in order to fulfil the requirements for secure printing. The proposed contract intends to provide a high level of security around printing, while introducing opportunities for cost reductions through decreased waste and enforcement of print policies.
A range of secure print services is required:
Category 1: Area roof-sign stickers (RSS);
Category 2: ID cards — the Driver Display Card;
Category 3: ID cards — the Driver-s Licence Smart Card;
Category 4: Tamper Evident In-Vehicle Licence Discs;
Category 5: Vehicle Licence Certificates;
Category 6: Frangible Adhesive Authentication Seals;
Category 7: Warrant Cards for Authorised Persons.
